Robert Alexa

Kirstie is a Researcher at Ridgeway. Her work focuses on migration in countries across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. She supports projects on disinformation, gender and leads on university engagement.

Prior to joining Ridgeway, Kirstie worked at the Institute for Economics and Peace on the Global Terrorism Index. She has also supported projects on disinformation, money laundering and terrorist financing, and edited a journal on cybersecurity.

Kirstie holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, where her thesis focussed on the relationship between terrorist violence and civil war. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
